We are Super Secure
I'm happy to announce that DHP Home Delivery Company is one of the first companies to implement the latest in security measures once products or services are purchased over the internet. We are now using Micosoft's Internet Explorer 7, which is one of the first Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption certificates with Extended Validation (EV).
EV SSL certificates are the latest efforts to counteract "phishing" scams online, in which fraudulent websites trick Internet users into divulging accoutn numbers and passwords by mimicking legitimate businesses. The new certificates require documentation and authentication to isure that the applicants are who they claim to be. Additionally, the certificates are only available to corporations and other traditionally larger businesses- sole proprietorships and general partnerships, for example, are ineligible.
The latest version of Internet Explorer is now updated with a new feature that changes the color of the address bar. For confirmed phishing sites, the bar turns red and for sites with the new EV SSL certificates, it turns green.
Online security is extremely important to us. We want our online customers to feel completely comfortable and secure in knowing that the information they supply us to purchase one of our products is as safe as technically possible. With everything you hear and read in today's media about internet security, we understand our customers' concerns, and we will always do whatever it takes to ensure that their online purchases are as secure and safe as possible.
